Building Inspector

The Village of Summit Building Inspector is responsible for issuing building, electrical, plumbing and HVAC permits, inspecting construction projects and enforcing the Village’s ordinances as they pertain to buildings. The building inspector also provides zoning services in areas outside the shoreland-wetland districts in the Village. The shoreland-wetland zoning official is Mr. Brian Depies, and he can be reached (by appointment only) by calling the Village Clerk’s office at (262) 567-2757.

The Village of Summit Building Inspector is Mike Sindorf of Maney-Miller Inspectors, LLP, and has been a Village of Summit Inspector since 2001. Mr. Sindorf has been in the construction business since 1988 and is a licensed Master Electrician. Mr. Sindorf is also licensed by the State of Wisconsin- Department of Safety and Professional Services to enforce the UDC (Uniform Dwelling Code chapters SPS 320-325) and the IBC (International Building Code chapters SPS 360-366). He is certified to inspect all building, electrical, plumbing and HVAC installations in residential, commercial and all other occupancies.
